The role of Opportunity Management Director involvesidentifying, evaluating, and maximizing business opportunitiesfor the continued growth of the Global Business Unit DTCdelivering data centers worldwide. The position is crucial forthe Business Unit's growth and profitability, as well ascontinuity of service delivery worldwide. The positionwill be responsible for building early-stage pipeline withprospective and existing customers, supporting regionalbusiness units in achieving their annual Order Intake goals.The position will oversee all proposal efforts within the DTCfrom a market to contract perspective.

1. Opportunity Identification:

Analyze market trends and industry developments to identifypotential opportunities.
Monitor competitors and assessing their strategies to spot gapsor areas where the organization can gain a competitiveadvantage.
Examine emerging technologies, customer preferences, andregulatory changes that may create new opportunities.


2. Opportunity Assessment:

Conduct thorough research and due diligence on potentialopportunities to understand their feasibility and potentialrisks.
Develop business cases and financial models to evaluate theexpected return on investment (ROI) for each opportunity.
Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and cross-functionalteams to gather input and insights to make informed decisions.


3. Strategic Planning:

Integrate identified opportunities into the DTC's global growthplan.
Prioritizing opportunities based on their alignment with theDTC’s goals and available resources.
Develop and maintaining a strategic roadmap for the globalpursuits working in collaboration with regional business unitleadership.


4. Relationship Management:

Build and nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders,new and returning customers, and supply chain partners toexplore and leverage potential opportunities.
Network with external business partners and attend globalindustry events to stay connected and identify new businessgeographic areas as well as service lines.

Identify and assess potential risks associated with the pursuitand developing risk mitigation strategies in accordance withCPROM policies.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirementsthroughout the pursuit process. To include assisting withPIRA, TERA and TFU reviews at the regional and corporate level.

In collaboration with corporate, business group and regionalleadership; develop and apply an effective capture strategy forthe pursuit.
In collaboration with regional business acquisition managers,oversee the opportunity through pursuit decision (Go/NoGo), toproposal submission to contract (Market to Contract).
Leverage existing relationships within the supply chainto ensure competitive and reliable pricing to the client
Coordinate with cross-functional team members for the pursuitand, develop and execute capture plans effectively.
Communicate regularly with the client to monitor changes inscope of work or contracting methods as well as communicate anyinternal issues with the pursuit.

Continuously evaluate the efficacy of the opportunitymanagement process and make improvements to enhance the DTC'sability to seize relevant market opportunities.
Learn from both successful and unsuccessful proposal efforts torefine future capture strategies and augment corporatepolicies.
Encourage, at the business group and regional level, a cultureof innovation within the DTC to foster a culture ofcooperativeness and continuity globally.
Promote creative thinking and problem-solving to capitalize onemerging trends and technologies.


8. Reporting and Communication:

Provide regular updates and reports to senior business groupand regional management and other stakeholders on the statusand outcomes of opportunity pursuits.
Communicate the strategic importance of identifiedopportunities to ensure alignment and support from the broaderorganization.
Monitor progress of success ratios, track key performanceindicators (KPIs), and adapt as needed.

The candidate should have measurable experience in theconstruction industry as well as market specific data centerexperience.
The candidate should have client-facing experience as well asteam-leading experience with multi-nation and multi-culturalteam members.

3. Skills:

The candidate should have technical and financial skills.
The candidate should have strong interpersonal andteam-building skills.

4. Certifications or Licenses:

The candidate should possess an industry recognized, relevantprofessional accreditation related to the position and itsresponsibilities.
