Director of Sales: Hardware Verification Solutions

You Are:
You are an experienced sales professional with a deep understanding of hardware and verification products. You possess a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and have extensive experience in hardware product sales. Your strategic mindset allows you to develop and execute complex sales plans that drive business growth. You excel in building long-term relationships with key decision-makers and have a strong customer advocacy mindset. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills enable you to influence and close deals effectively. With minimal oversight, you can manage complex projects and programs that span multiple related areas.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serving as the solution-oriented Product Sales Manager and leading a team of sales specialists for Synopsys' Hardware Assisted Verification (HAV), Systems, and Verification products.
- Deeply engaging with clients by proactively uncovering their new challenges, high-value problems, and offering tailored, differentiated one SNPS solutions.
- Working in a team environment as part of a Global Go to Market (GTM) organization, with other Sales Managers, Product Managers, Application Engineers, and R&D to meet and execute established sales objectives of the account team.
- Developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing key customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure our products succeed in the market.
- Assisting the account team in building competitive displacement and growth campaigns/opportunities utilizing full portfolio flows and methodologies.
- Ensuring the team executes on engagement management, forecasting, prospecting, qualifying, and delivery of sales presentations and proposals to customers.
- Developing and directing complex technical sales plans, which may involve competitive or creative business agreements to meet or exceed pre-established quotas.
- Developing long-term business opportunities by creating close relationships with key decision-makers within the strategic worldwide account teams and functional groups.
- Identifying and pursuing sales opportunities through client collaborative projects, strategizing mutual ROI to come up with solutions and GTM ideas addressing mutual clients' needs and challenges.
- Promoting the HAV ecosystem to expand and achieve growth goals.
- Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of Synopsys HAV and verification products, services, and solutions to effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Staying current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and client insights to inform sales strategies and approaches.

- Identifying and addressing clients' high-value problems with tailored solutions that differentiate Synopsys from competitors.
- Expanding the HAV ecosystem to achieve growth goals and increase market share.
- Contributing to the overall success of the GTM organization by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- A minimum of 12 years of related experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Proven experience in hardware product sales, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of hardware and verification products and technology.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.

The Team You'll Be A Part Of:
You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative Global Go to Market (GTM) organization. This team includes Sales Managers, Product Managers, Application Engineers, and R&D professionals who work together to achieve established sales objectives. The team environment fosters innovation, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric approach to drive the success of Synopsys' HAV, Systems, and Verification products in the market.
