Our client, an incredible women-run comms firm, is looking to add an People Leader to its leadership team. We want to hear from you if you are committed to building trusted relationships, leading with empathy, and being passionate about operational development and firm growth.


The Role:

  • Working closely with the executive team members in creating, growing, and building a best-in-class, services-driven organization
  • People management: overseeing the content, media relations and leadership teams - prioritizing coaching and development
  • Serve as the "go-to" person for any personnel items
  • Serve as a trustworthy advisor and build relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
  • Helping to onboard new clients and staff, assist with recruitment efforts
  • Performance reviews and recommendations for promotions
  • Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company
  • Be a champion of company culture and values
  • Work with teams to help devise staffing plans based on bandwidth



The Ideal Candidate:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • PR agency experience is a must*
  • Exceptional executive presence, business acumen, and presentation skills
  • Track record of being able to multitask, prioritize, and delegate responsibilities


Position title: People/Culture Manager


Location: Chicago, IL (West Loop)


Workplace type: Hybrid, in-office 3x per week


Salary: $90-110k base, depending on experience
