Position Summary

At Bank of America, we are not just guarding against threats – we are pioneering the future of cybersecurity. We are on the hunt for a Senior Product Portfolio Lead for Identity and Access Management (IAM); a critical role in the design and implementation of our Enterprise IAM platform serving 200,000+ employees. If you have a passion for IAM, deep understanding of its principles, and extensive experience with IAM technologies, you can make a great impact in this role.

The Product Portfolio Lead is a member of the Cyber Security Product Management team, which is responsible for working across Global Information Security (GIS) to deliver cutting-edge technology that enables our ability to protect the Enterprise and our customers from evolving threats.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the IAM Product team and drive product strategy for all IAM capabilities across the Enterprise and across environments (on-prem and cloud): identity & access enforcement (IAE), identity governance & administration (IGA), privileged access management (PAM), and identity defense and monitoring (IDM).
  2. Drive the evolution, unification, and enhancements of IAM ecosystem, informed by threats, risk, industry research, insights from stakeholders and users, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience while aligning with organizational goals and regulatory compliance.
  3. Implement cloud-native Identity and Entitlement, and secrets management automated controls.
  4. Build strong relationships with all levels of the organization, external stakeholders, and partners to accomplish the mission.
  5. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to shape a comprehensive, long-term IAM strategy, blueprints, and roadmaps.
  6. Oversee initiative planning for the IAM portfolio, including the creation of business cases, architectural designs, and resource planning.
  7. Work with Product Owners to connect the strategy to deliverables, epics, and stories.
  8. Support a multi-year transition from Waterfall and Agile Scrum teams to value streams.
  9. Manage IAM third parties: relationships, engagements, contracts, financials, metrics, exit strategies.
  10. Mentor and provide guidance to team members to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable environment.

Qualifications:

  1. 7+ years of experience at an Enterprise level for IAM, Product Management and/or related field.
  2. Strong understanding of IAM concepts, frameworks, and technologies.
  3. Experience working in agile methodologies and product management matched by a track record of driving successful transformation.
  4. Exceptional interpersonal skills and a collaborative spirit that enables you to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and communicate product vision, strategy, progress and gather feedback to drive capability improvements.
  5. You excel at strategic planning and execution, with a talent for turning complex challenges into actionable solutions.
  6. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to use data to communicate change.
