Job Title: Junior Software Controls Engineer


Job description: Join our elite team of engineers dedicated to designing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions for highly complex automation systems. Our team for Controls and Automation offers expert engineering software design for our complex and highly specialized systems. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle challenging automation problems, from conveyor systems to robotic assembly lines. You will work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience in software design, integration, and control systems testing.


Job responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy robust software solutions for various automation applications.
  • Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation technology and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative control strategies and algorithms.
  • Define programming structures for the project to ensure compliance with customer standards
  • Create programming modules per project requirements to design programming functionality and ensure the timely execution of projects.
  • Perform system installation, safety implementation, and sequence testing to ensure system integration and safety programming are activated and working properly on company premises as well as on customer's location.
  • Support the project software development, installation & execution and provide support to a system after installation on customer sites.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 3 - 4 years' experience with PLC, HMI and CNC
  • The application-specific experience is required for the following application
  • Robotics System with Material Handling
  • Strong programming skills in Siemens and Rockwell PLC.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, Computer Science , Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a bachelor's degree in physics with relevant experience in software programming

Preferred Requirements:

  • 4 - 5 years' experience with PLC, HMI and CNC
  • The application-specific experience is required for the following application
  • Material Handling Conveyor Systems
  • Gantry System knowledge
  • Preferred experience in Robots and Motion Control programming
