Position Overview:


As the Procurement and Inventory Manager for Crescent Canna, you will be responsible for purchasing and monitoring a wide range of items including ingredients, supplies, marketing materials, and packaging at multiple locations. Working across multiple teams, the Procurement and Inventory Manager will be a key player in driving the company’s manufacturing activities and ensuring that all purchases contribute to the company’s success, savings, and growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage all purchasing and inventory activities for the company.
  • Develop and implement efficient purchasing strategies to meet company’s operational needs.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and prices to ensure the best possible terms.
  • Monitor and track purchasing trends, identifying opportunities for cost-savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure production at multiple sites including co-packers.
  • Evaluate inventory levels to track and reduce waste and spillage.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams in order to monitor cost of goods, forecast future procurement needs and ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a purchasing and inventory role, preferably in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and inventory processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to track and analyze purchasing trends and evaluate cost of goods.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address issues before they arise.
  • Supply Chain Management is strongly preferred.
