Legislative Attorney

Naman Howell is seeking a part-time attorney or clerk for the upcoming Texas legislative session to read, analyze, and summarize bills potentially impacting the electric or telecommunications industries in Texas.
Requirements:
- Admitted to the Texas Bar
- Experience in legislative or policy matters and in the electric or telecommunications industries in Texas strongly preferred
- Ability to interpret complex statutory language and produce client-ready work product succinctly summarizing it, absolutely required
Approximately 20 hours per week desired from roughly November to May. This position is ideal for someone looking for part-time, remote work with flexible hours, although availability on Fridays is likely needed.
