Job Opportunity

Naman Howell Smith & Lee PLLC is seeking a part-time attorney or clerk to support our legislative team during the Texas legislative session.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read, analyze, and summarize bills related to the electric or telecommunications industries in Texas.
  • Provide expert interpretation of complex statutory language and produce high-quality summaries.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of client-ready work product.

Requirements:

  • Admission to the Texas Bar.
  • Experience in legislative or policy matters and the electric or telecommunications industries in Texas is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Work Arrangement:

This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week, from November to May. The ideal candidate will have flexible hours and be available on Fridays.
