Business Analysis (45%)

  • Work with business and technical staff to gather requirements, document, analyze, create test case scenarios, troubleshoot, and support business processes and applications.
  • Assist with scope definition and change management.
  • Obtain sign-off on systems requirements and technical documentation.
  • Prepare, review, revise, and format technical documents and information for nontechnical users.
  • Stay up to date on Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends.

System Quality Assurance (45%)

  • Develop and lead the information technology team’s quality assurance process.
  • Conduct comprehensive QA testing of all solutions implemented on the Salesforce Platform, including customizations, configurations, integrations, and deployments.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce development team to identify, prioritize, and resolve bugs and issues.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that new developments do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Assess service levels and system performance.
  • Evaluate and report on trends; recognize anomalies, identify potential causes, and propose solutions as appropriate.

Project Coordination (10%)

  • Assist in the creation of informal project plans, agendas, minutes, and documentation.
  • Assist in managing project plans and cross functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of IT projects.
  • Provide input into project communications for the organization and leadership.
  • Assist in maintaining Information Technology’s project management technology and resources.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Perform detailed requirements gathering and analysis
  • Evaluate business processes and develop solutions to new and existing opportunities
  • Communicate feedback regarding quality assurance and development
  • Translate technical information to a non-technical audience, effectively communicate insights to cross-functional team members
  • Develop and implement test plans/scenarios to ensure successful delivery of a project
  • Create and maintain documentation of processes and system functionality
  • Administer scope, budget, competing resources and priorities
  • Oversee multiple projects that may run concurrently
  • Coordinate, execute, implement, track, escalate, and complete projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

TRAVEL:

NAA is in Arlington, VA, and local employees are expected to work in the office 2-3 days per week.

Requirements:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years with BS/BA or equivalent relevant experience
  • 1 year business analysis experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team
  • Ability to handle complex functional requirements, manage and prioritize tasks, set goals, and work independently as well as in a group
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and customer service skills are essential, as is diligent follow-through on tasks
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities in an interrupt-driven environment
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High degree of professionalism and accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years project coordinator or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years business analyst or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years third-party / vendor management experience
  • Experience with Zoho, Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar
  • Experience in waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Experience with associations, credentialing, or nonprofit organizations

SALARY RANGE: $65-70,000


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds.
