SUMMARY

The purpose of this position is to provide clinical supervision and quality assurance monitoring of the ICBS division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Provide clinical training and supervision for all clinical and case management staff, in a group or individual setting.
  • Review referrals received and cases assigned to clinical staff with team supervisors.
  • Manage and oversee clinical service delivery for the programs. To include review and audit of participant documentation for compliance with agency/program policy.
  • Oversee timely completion and submission of clinical reports, mental health assessments, screenings, treatment plans, and all other relevant clinical documentation.
  • Research and review clinical interventions and curriculum used in programming to ensure validity or efficacy of services and integrity of model is maintained.
  • Oversee the implementation of treatment plans and ensure adherence to best practices for high acuity participants. In addition to making recommendations on treatment modalities.
  • Ensure staff complete required funder trainings annually and as needed.
  • Ensure clinical license is always up to date.
  • Ensure that all appropriate staff maintain a culturally appropriate level of therapeutic skills to engage diverse populations
  • Monitor compliance and ensure readiness for Medicaid audits
  • Participate in program staffing as needed (i.e., service coordination, discharge, etc.)
  • Participate in agency committees and workgroups as ICBS division representative.
  • Meet with Mobile Crisis Supervisors for clinical supervision as scheduled.
  • Conduct Monthly clinical supervision group for ICBS division
  • Work with ICBS division leaders and data analyst to monitor client outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Risk Management to monitor incident reports and risk reduction.
  • Work with Joint Commission Compliance team to ensure alignment of clinical services to JC standards.
  • Complete all Core Curriculum Training(s) as required for this position.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage clinical supervisory staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Master's degree, five years’ supervisory experience and certification as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or ( LCPC) required.
  • Experience with the populations we serve: Juvenile Justice, Substance Abuse Services, Homeless, community mental health, and crisis work.
