The organization offers a range of programs, including inpatient care, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient services, and community-based residential options.The Clinical Intake Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating telephone triage, conducting clinical assessments, and managing referral processes. This position is responsible for processing admissions to inpatient facilities within designated time frames while fostering therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
The Coordinator will promptly respond to all inquiry calls from community referral sources, clients, and medical/allied health professionals. Initial face-to-face assessments will be provided for all inquiries, with in-house evaluations scheduled within one hour.Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in psychology, social work, or a related discipline IS MANDATORY. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a psychiatric treatment environment is essential. Candidates must be at least 21 years old. Strong assessment and communication skills are necessary. Annual certifications in CPR, First Aid, and crisis prevention/intervention (PMR) must be maintained. Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation services and Special Treatment Procedures is required. A professional license is preferred.
