We are looking for a Human Resources Manager with a broad HR Generalist background at our Macomb, IL location. As the HR Manager, you will provide leadership and support for all HR related functions at assigned location(s). This role will support the VP of Human Resources and partner with other HR Managers in organization growth, development, and foster a culture of workplace excellence. The HR Manager is under the supervision of VP of Human Resources.

  • Assists VP of Human Resources to partner with hiring managers to implement retention strategies and engagement activities.
  • Conducts investigations into complaints and other employee concerns and make recommendations for resolution.
  • Oversees employee leaves of absence, including providing guidance to managers and employees, and analyzing return to work restrictions and accommodations.
  • Collaborates with department VP's and hiring managers on staffing plans and take an active role in the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Ensures all pre-employment and post-employment paperwork and documentation are completed with new employees.
  • Ensures all employee paperwork is completed for full compliance with regulatory and Bridgeway expectations.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for employees for guidance on policies and processes.
  • Serves as one of the primary recipients of personnel changes which may include entering HRIS data. Assists with maintenance of personnel records, HRIS, and other software/databases.
  • Provides direction and training to supervisors and employees regarding policies, procedures, and organizational processes.
  • Preforms exit interviews and assists with the separation of employment process.

Our minimum requirements are two to four years of human resources generalist experience. Prefer Bachelor's Degree with at least one year of HR experience. Must also have reliable transportation. Must be able to travel to Bridgeway locations. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional up completion of all background checks.
