  • Manages branch through functional leaders (sales, finance, purchasing, and warehouse).
  • Responsible for all functions and financial metrics for the branches in Denver, CO, and Salt Lake City, UT, and future branch expansions in CO and UT.

  • Manages market analysis for a span of responsibilities.
  • Ensures business growth by developing an annual marketing and sales plan with the Regional Sales Director; develops and maintains business relationships with customers and develops new business partners and alliances for the business segment or small geography.
  • Develops a deep understanding of AAF’s business in the region, globally, and across all business units.
  • Manages customer satisfaction for the Branches as measured by Net Promoter Score; encourages a customer service culture; recruits develops, motivates, and retains high-quality customer service employees.
  • Manages sales by collaborating with Regional Sales Leadership.
  • Manages local inventory, including forecasting dialog with sales and operations. Utilizes both warehouse locations for effective utilization of space and inventory effectiveness.
  • Manages compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and compliance; oversees health, safety, and environmental audits.
  • Encourages a culture of corporate responsibility for the benefit of employees and the communities in which AAF operates.
  • Manages, develops, and motivates employees; completes, agrees to and monitors work plans and Individual Development Plans
  • Multiple Site specific warehouse related decisions
  • Service contract negotiations, including sub-contractors as required
  • Overall P&L decisions at local level within AAF LOA policies
  • Maintaining local facilities and assets (building and vehicles) as required through service providers
  • Managing DOT records at local level and ensuring these are filed with NA coordinator
  • Warehouse safety management
  • Management of inventory, cycle count and physical inventory
  • Management of inventory proper storage and paperwork
  • Service performance- on time and on budget
  • Service schedule accuracy
  • Management of receipt of inventory and proper documentation for entry into inventory management system
  • Management of meeting customer deadlines in a timely, but safe manner
  • No safety violations or incidents
  • Customer survey- NPS reviews
  • Local employee engagement, development
  • Participating in broader Americas branch leadership weekly team calls and regional meetings, sharing best practices and lesson learned
  • Other duties assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related field, equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Five or more years of experience managing others in a safety driven culture
  • Experience in field service activities
  • Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
  • Experience with Voice of Customer, and customer interface within a market
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
  • Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of safety and environmental practices and regulations including OSHA compliance and a proven record of improving safety results
  • Demonstrated leadership, influence and communication skills
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals
  • Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal / written communications and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi - task and work in a fast - paced setting.
  • Must be able to learn and operate a forklift
  • A hands-on proactive individual who is willing to go above and beyond to ensure the efficient operation of the branches
