Electrical Component Inside Sales Position Summary: As an Electrical Component Inside Sales Associate, you are responsible for the sales process from inception to the execution of the order. You are hands-on with all of our Electrical Customers, primarily Electricians, and provide them with knowledgeable industry-specific excellence in customer service.


Responsibilities of the Electric Supply Inside Sales Role:

  • Serve as a key sales electrical supply professional contact and liaison for electrical customers.
  • Generate sales, and take orders while providing quick, accurate, and courteous sales customer service to our electrical contractors.
  • Provide excellent sales customer service in an ethical and professional manner that reflects favorably on our sales personnel to maintain our company image and vision of the organization.
  • Establish, create, foster, and maintain solid long-term relationships with electrical contractors and other customers who have complex electrical needs.
  • Support customers in determining the best product solution to meet individual customer needs.
  • Work with purchasing, outside sales, quotation specialists, and other personnel to provide competitive electrical sales quotes.
  • Answer questions that the customers have about the merchandise.
  • Apply your sales knowledge of the field and our products to effectively sell and market merchandise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Electrical Supply Sales Role:

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years Industry-Specific Experience Required.
    • Perfect role for Electricians and Individuals with knowledge and experience working with Electric Supplies
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Established Understanding of Electrical Components and Electrical Manufactures
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
    • Comfort with sales and negation skills
    • Ability to maintain relationships with clients
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office software

Working Conditions

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds
