We are actively hiring for the position of Press Feeder for our plant in Cleveland, OH

Shift:


2nd Shift Monday to Friday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Load the plates into the proper unit by color.
  • Assists Press Operator in removing and replacing worn rollers and adjusting pressure between rollers of press, using hand tools.
  • Load skid of unprinted sheets of paper into the feeder of the press using the pallet jack.
  • Inspect materials and products for defects, and to ensure it meets job specifications.
  • Push dual control buttons and move controls to start, stop, or adjust machinery and equipment.
  • Identify and mark materials, products, and samples, following instructions.
  • Remove printed gangs from the offset press and place them in the staging area for the cutting department.
  • Record production and operational data, such as the amount of materials processed.
  • Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately.
  • Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards.
  • Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs.
  • Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned.
  • Keep press and working area CLEAN.

Qualification

  • Understand the printing process of the press machine.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, write, speak & understand English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Press Operator.
  • Ability to use hand/power tools and safe use of them.
  • Ability to multi-task with changing priorities.
  • Ability to recognize safety issues & corrective actions.
