Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provide exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning patients, selecting technical factors, and operating ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality scans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients and select technical factors to obtain optimal quality scans
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including portable units, to perform procedures
  • Assist physicians with recommendations for optimal studies
  • Deliver patient care and maintain department standards of quality improvement
  • Prepare ultrasound rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
  • Utilize phone etiquette and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Transport patients as needed and maintain a timely flow of patients
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate statistics
Requirements:
  • ARDMS Registry eligible
  • Successful completion of ARDMS Registry within first year of employment
  • CPR Certification
Working Conditions:
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to respond to emergency call-backs
  • Exposure to radiation
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and use patient handling equipment
