Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Systems Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's financial systems and processes. This role involves managing the financial systems' infrastructure, ensuring data integrity, and supporting financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems management, project leadership, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Systems Management: Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of financial systems including ERP and other financial software applications.
  • System Optimization: Evaluate and implement system enhancements to improve functionality, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial data across all systems. Develop and enforce data governance and quality standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Lead the development of financial reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand reporting requirements.
  • Project Leadership: Manage system implementation projects, including upgrades, integrations, and new system rollouts. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • User Support: Provide technical support and training for financial system users. Develop and maintain user documentation and training materials.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure financial systems comply with internal controls, regulations, and industry standards. Implement and monitor system security protocols.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with system vendors and service providers to address issues, negotiate contracts, and manage service level agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in financial systems management, with a focus on ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, reporting, and data analytics.
  • Proven experience in project management, including system implementation and upgrades.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with data governance and system security best practices.
