Quality Review Specialist

Function and Responsibilities

Building relationships with our members, and offering first-class service is a top priority at Town & Country FCU. The Quality Review Specialist plays a very important part within the Consumer Lending team.

The Quality Review Specialist performs the following duties:

  • Evaluates information to determine whether lending officers have acted within guidelines of lending authority, if loan is in compliance with banking regulations, and ensure required documents have been obtained.
  • Identifies loan errors and describes deficiencies; works with the underwriters and lenders to confirm problems have been corrected. Tracks and reports loan errors to VP of Consumer Lending to identify risk and performance problems.
  • Monitors loan reporting to ensure all loans are received for quality review. Contact lender for missing loans. Loans that are not received in the required timeframe are reported to VP of Consumer Lending.

Experience & Education
One to three years of similar or related work experience. High school education or GED. Experience in all aspects of lending including real estate, commercial, and consumer. Capable of operating spreadsheets and word processing programs. Must have good communication skills.

Interpersonal Skills

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

This department is located in our Operations Center, Scarborough Maine.
