Key Responsibilities
Building strong relationships with our members and delivering exceptional service is paramount at Town & Country FCU. The Quality Review Specialist plays a crucial role within the Consumer Lending team.
The Quality Review Specialist is responsible for the following tasks:
- Assessing documentation to verify that lending officers adhere to established lending guidelines, ensuring compliance with banking regulations, and confirming that all necessary documents are collected.
- Identifying discrepancies in loan applications and articulating deficiencies; collaborating with underwriters and lenders to rectify issues and tracking loan errors for reporting to the VP of Consumer Lending to highlight risk and performance concerns.
- Overseeing loan reporting processes to guarantee that all loans are submitted for quality review. Engaging with lenders regarding any missing loans and notifying the VP of Consumer Lending about loans not received within the required timeframe.
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of relevant experience. High school diploma or GED required. Familiarity with various lending aspects, including real estate, commercial, and consumer lending. Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software. Strong communication skills are essential.
Interpersonal Skills
This role involves significant interaction with individuals both within and outside the organization for the purpose of resolving conflicts, building rapport, and encouraging collaboration. Discussions require a high level of confidentiality and discretion, necessitating diplomatic and tactful communication.
