Quality Review Specialist

Key Responsibilities

Building strong relationships with our members and delivering exceptional service is paramount at Town & Country FCU. The Quality Review Specialist plays a crucial role within the Consumer Lending division.

The responsibilities of the Quality Review Specialist include:

  • Assessing documentation to ensure lending officers adhere to established lending authority guidelines, confirming compliance with banking regulations, and verifying that all necessary documents are collected.
  • Identifying discrepancies in loan applications and articulating deficiencies; collaborating with underwriters and lenders to rectify issues and tracking loan errors for reporting to the VP of Consumer Lending to mitigate risks and enhance performance.
  • Overseeing loan submissions to guarantee all loans undergo quality review. Engaging with lenders regarding any missing loans and reporting any delays in submissions to the VP of Consumer Lending.

Qualifications
1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar role. High school diploma or GED required. Familiarity with various lending aspects, including real estate, commercial, and consumer loans. Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software. Strong communication skills are essential.

Interpersonal Skills

This position involves significant interaction with colleagues and external parties, focusing on conflict resolution, relationship building, and fostering cooperation. Discussions often require a high level of confidentiality and discretion, necessitating diplomatic communication skills.
