Key Responsibilities
Establishing strong relationships with our members and delivering exceptional service is paramount at Town & Country FCU. The Quality Review Specialist plays a crucial role within the Consumer Lending team.
The responsibilities of the Quality Review Specialist include:
- Assessing information to ensure that lending officers comply with established lending authority guidelines, verify that loans adhere to banking regulations, and confirm that all necessary documentation has been secured.
- Identifying discrepancies in loan applications and articulating deficiencies; collaborating with underwriters and lenders to ensure that issues are rectified. Monitoring and reporting loan errors to the VP of Consumer Lending to highlight risk and performance concerns.
- Overseeing loan reporting to guarantee that all loans are submitted for quality review. Communicating with lenders regarding any missing loans. Loans not received within the designated timeframe will be reported to the VP of Consumer Lending.
Qualifications
1 to 3 years of relevant experience. High school diploma or GED required. Familiarity with various lending sectors, including real estate, commercial, and consumer lending. Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software. Strong communication skills are essential.
Interpersonal Skills
This role involves significant interaction with individuals both within and outside the organization for the purpose of resolving initial conflicts, fostering relationships, and encouraging collaboration. Discussions will often require a high level of confidentiality and discretion, necessitating diplomacy and tact in communication.
