Job Overview

The Marketing Associate supports TerraCycle's marketing strategies for growing our U.S. and Canada business lines. The ideal candidate is a fervent believer in our mission, is energized and not intimidated by a fast-changing environment, and has a high competency in project and stakeholder management. This role is best suited for a creative digital marketer with a varied skill set, willing to execute tasks big and small.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing, executing, managing and evaluating marketing initiatives for our brand partners associated with our brand-sponsored recycling programs.
  • Understand our brand partnerships and successfully support development and execution of marketing content and promotions to drive participation in sponsored recycling programs.
  • Collaborate with our internal content and creative teams to develop compelling, results-driven marketing content across multiple channels.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing strategy to drive e-commerce sales results.
  • Support marketing projects from start to finish; possess the desire and drive to constantly move the business forward.
  • Work closely with marketing teammates to drive innovative strategies and programs to drive revenue and customer growth.
Requirements:

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing; experience with e-commerce platforms is a plus, preferably in a smaller environment with experience owning marketing projects from beginning to end
  • Strong strategic and creative problem-solving skills; a bright spark with the clear ability to dream big and drive innovative ideas
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong writing skills and a sharp attention to detail
  • Proven ability to assess and order priorities, juggle multiple tasks, and anticipate/plan ahead in an ever-changing environment is a MUST
  • Understanding of website analytics tools and optimization techniques (Adwords, GA4, SEO, etc.), and experience in web content management platforms is preferred
