Job DescriptionJob Description

AMECO is looking to hire an experienced Administrative Assistant. This position will assist and support our Evansville, IN team members, to include consistently providing top-quality, administrative support and high standards of excellence, while ensuring solid customer/vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strong verbal/written communication skills with high standard of professionalism
  • Under direct supervision will perform a variety of tasks and administrative functions
  • Administers and maintains confidential and specialized information
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of organizational policies/procedures/operations
  • Performs administrative duties to include maintaining departmental files, phone coverage, meeting coordination, standard copy machine functions
  • Assists with planning functions to include socials, vendor lunches, and specialized training
  • Maintains compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
  • Adhere to and support AMECO’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
  • Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
  • Participate in department meetings, training, and functions
  • Serve as a Company representative to external clients
  • Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to at least 1 year High School Diploma or equivalent, Secondary Education preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Expert Microsoft computer skills to include proficiency in Excel/database/spreadsheets
