Job Summary:

The General Manager in Training (GMIT) is responsible for learning and executing the daily operations of the business under the guidance of a seasoned General Manager. This position is designed to provide the skills and experience necessary to assume the role of General Manager within a specified period. The GMIT will work closely with all departments to ensure efficient and effective operations, customer satisfaction, and achievement of company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training and Development:

- Participate in an extensive training program to learn all aspects of the business.

- Assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies.

- Attend management training sessions and workshops.

2. Operations Management:

- Assist the General Manager in daily operational tasks including staffing, scheduling, and inventory management.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.

- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and employees.

3. Customer Service:

- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer concerns promptly and professionally.

- Assist in resolving customer complaints and improving overall customer satisfaction.

4. Financial Management:

- Learn and assist in financial management tasks including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure business goals are met.

-5. Team Leadership:

- Support the General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing team members.

- Foster a positive and motivating work environment to maximize employee engagement and productivity.

6. Sales and Marketing:

- Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.

- Help identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue.
