We are looking for a full-time Safety Specialist / Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction safety - specifically for electrical transmission and distribution, and substation construction/maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage safety programs for all phases of T&D/substation construction projects.
  • Conduct safety inspections and audits of construction sites.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans.
  • Provide safety training and education to employees.
  • Advocate for safety and promote a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-8 years of experience in construction safety.
  • Proficiency in electrical transmission and distribution, substation construction and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
