Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a skilled Help Desk III to join our team onsite in Madison, WI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ITSM and ITIL, with at least 6 years of professional Help Desk experience. Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to independently resolve complex IT issues are essential for success in this role.Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second level hardware and software support.
  • Configure and administer the ITSM tool.
  • Lead ITSM improvement initiatives based on ITIL and industry best practices.
  • Mentor junior technical support staff and maintain professionalism, especially during interactions with executive leadership.
  • Create and implement IT policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
  • Provide in-person support at the Hill Farms State Office building in Madison, WI.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in a Help Desk role.
  • Proficiency in root cause analysis and issue resolution for DFI hardware and software (e.g., Lenovo Laptops, Apple iPhones, MS Windows, M365).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly when dealing with a variety of customers including executives.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM principles.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Nice to have: ITIL 4 Foundation certification or similar, CompTIA A+ certification or similar, PMP certification or similar.
