Position Summary:

American Equipment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. The

Safety Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety training, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Training: Conduct safety training sessions for employees and new hires.
  • Inspections: Perform regular safety inspections and audits of equipment and facilities.
  • Incident Reporting: Investigate and report on workplace accidents and incidents.
  • Provide Support to the Fleet Program
  • Safety Programs: Develop and implement safety programs and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a safety-related role.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct training sessions and presentations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

This is a full-time onsite position; 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with occasional travel (10%) to our locations in- WY, NV, CO and UT.
