Position Overview:
We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Safety Coordinator to enhance our operations. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to safety protocols, facilitating safety training, and fostering a robust safety culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA and other pertinent safety regulations.
- Training: Lead safety training sessions for both existing employees and new recruits.
- Inspections: Conduct routine safety audits and inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Incident Reporting: Investigate and document workplace accidents and incidents.
- Safety Programs: Design and implement comprehensive safety initiatives and programs.
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in a safety-related position.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to conduct training sessions and presentations effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
