About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager/Technical Director to oversee the pre-production, installation, and logistics of entertainment production technology-focused projects. This role involves primary oversight of a project with multiple installations around Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, and Austin, with the potential to contribute to additional projects both domestically and internationally as the schedule allows.
Location: Hybrid (Remote during pre-production, on-site during installation)
Areas: Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Austin
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pre-production, installation, and logistics of entertainment production technology projects.
- Manage all technical aspects of installations, including Lighting, Audio, Video, Rigging, and IT.
- Oversee equipment and staff during the installation phase.
- Operate as the main point of contact for clients on assigned projects.
- Manage delivery schedules and logistics to ensure timely project completion.
- Work with procurement on inventory management.
- Travel domestically and internationally based on project needs.
- Able to adapt to project-based timelines, which may shift based on client requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing technical aspects of live broadcast, event, and film & TV productions.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Ability to travel frequently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
- Knowledge of equipment and logistics management.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience in technical direction and project management within the live broadcast, event, and film & TV industries.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
