EHR Specialist

As an Electronic Health Records (EHR) Specialist is responsible for providing end-user support for the Electronic Health Record system and other applications that may interface with the EHR and/or data. In this role, you will respond to issues and knows when to escalate issues to the Applications Analyst Manager when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provides friendly and thorough customer services to EHR application end-users. Offers trouble shooting, coaching and training to promote optimal use of the system.
• Monitors and responds to ticket queues and calls and documents responses.
• Triages support requests to other Analyst / Manager as needed.
• Actively seeks to understand end user needs to ensure the application is performing to expectations and is able to support adoption of applications.
• May document workflow and/or departmental processes and participate in department projects.
• Assists with analyzing and testing of promotions, and documents issues and new features.
• Performs technical tasks in support of database maintenance, application development, data entry, and QA work.

Location & Schedule:

• Mostly remote / Bloomington office as needed
  • Must live in Minnesota
• Monday - Friday, standard business hours

Requirements:

• BA/BS in healthcare, computer science or business administration or related field preferred.
• Experience in electronic health record system
