We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer to join our team at Valytics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing system requirements and capability acceptance criteria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Estimate and create test cases to satisfy requirements, following established standards and procedures.

  • Trace requirements to the test cases and review customer comments to apply edits.

  • Lead other testers or represent multiple projects under the same umbrella, ensuring seamless execution of test cases.

  • Support test events by executing assigned test cases and creating detailed annotated test evidence files.

  • Prepare testing status input for gate reviews and provide input to test reports after a test event occurs.

  • Master MHS GENESIS to play multiple roles as needed to support the test and evaluation group.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship

  • Ability to receive a security clearance (active Public Trust or higher is a plus)

  • 6 years of relevant work experience is required

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution

  • Functional GUI and limited back-end testing background as well as interface testing

  • IBM Jazz test repository tool experience or equivalent (JIRA, TFS, etc.) (preferred)

  • Experience in Rhapsody, XML, and/or JSON (preferred)

  • Clinical software background, direct or related clinical experience, or prior experience with the Military Health System (MHS) applications/environments.

  • Experience with Cerner EHR (preferred)

  • Customer oriented to support IV&V activities

  • Self-starter; demonstrated ability to work alone and with team members remotely

  • Ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly in English

  • Understanding of testing methodology

  • Microsoft Office suite experience
