WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

As a Maintenance Engineer you will work with all functional areas and disciplines to continually improve plant safety and reliability in the production of mineral abrasives. The position is an active member of the Maintenance and Engineering Team and works closely with the Reliability Team to improve operational uptime and reliability.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to building a positive safety culture.
  • Driver's License
  • Five or more years of Project, Process and/or Plant Reliability Engineering experience in a heavy industrial work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related engineering field.
  • Strong project management skills which include the ability to direct both internal and external resources to ensure the timely completion of project work and conformance to specifications.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Experience with CMMs and predictive maintenance technologies
  • Working knowledge of industrial electrical and process control systems
  • Familiar with precision maintenance and reliability best practices
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Concepts
  • Familiar with maintenance work order management systems
  • Working knowledge of predicting technology, and practices; vibration, oil analysis, thermography, Ultra-sound, etc.
