Job DescriptionJob Description

The Powder Coating Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership and coordinate the activities for production to ensure that the department is running efficiently to include the health and safety standards, quality, production maintenance, and process.


GENERAL DUTIES

  • Responsible for properly supervising and performing all powder-coating related activities in alignment with company and customer quality standards.
  • Review production orders and/or schedules.
  • Thorough understanding of ALL powder coating line job duties.
  • Ability to hang, offload, label, inspect, and pack products.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the powder coating lines, booths, related equipment, and work areas.
  • Ensure that all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals for quality and customer order on-time performance.
  • Knowledge of mechanics and repair of painting equipment, proper cleaning, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed in order to promote personal safety and the safety of others.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED. Associate's degree in business preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of powder coating experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of responsible leadership experience in a leadership role.
  • Must have the following skills: time management, detailed oriented, problem solving, and communication verbal & written.
