About the Role

VadaTech Inc. is a leading provider of embedded computing solutions, and we are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Henderson, NV. This is a second-shift position, working from 1:30 pm to 9:30 pm, with flexibility to support first shift or split shift as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate multi-axis (true 5-axis, 3+2) CNC machines, including Mazak 5-axis.
  • Develop and implement plans to manufacture parts according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Monitor production processes, intervening when problems arise and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal customers and departments to deliver estimates of completion and tooling requirements for individual machined projects.
  • Perform machine shop set-up and equipment maintenance tasks, ensuring all manufacturing safety and regulatory policies are implemented and maintained.
  • Assist with other metals parts and fixture fabrication work, including cutting, jigging, powder coating, welding, physical dimensioning, and daily cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC machinist, with 7+ years of experience preferred.
  • Certification related to Machining or Machine Tool Technology.
  • Ability to review part prints and assure machining accuracy, read and interpret engineering drawings, and troubleshoot CNC programs for issues and errors.
  • Knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing and its application to the machine shop environment, as well as strong experience with using standard inspection tools and methods in the evaluation of machined parts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to work in both R&D and production rate environments.
