POSITION SUMMARY:

The Program Outreach Coordinator is responsible for generating leads, lead management, conducting sales presentations, generating and maintaining relationships with key referral sources and supporting budgeted census goals for Adult Day Health.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • In collaboration with key leaders and the Senior Director of LIFE PACE & ADH, develops and implements effective program outreach plans.
  • Generates sales leads and fosters strong relationships with key referral sources to achieve established census goals. Researches, identifies and develops new leads and professional referral sources in the geriatric community and cultivates relationships with existing referral sources.
  • Works closely and meets regularly with SeniorLine and Adult Day Health Site Managers so that immediate communication is made for each inquiry and immediate follow-up is conducted for inquiries ready to move to intake.
  • Track the status and make subsequent follow-ups when necessary. Perform initial enrollment functions when necessary.
  • Researches, schedules and successfully executes regular community outreach events including health fairs, senior expos, speaking engagements, in-service education and any other event/speaking engagement that would promote LSS’ programs to potential participants, caregivers and professional referral sources.
  • Guides the planning and development of sales/referral marketing and communications materials.
  • Directs the preparation, issuance, and delivery of materials, exhibits, and promotional programs.
  • Initiates communication between discharge planners, case managers, medical staff, caregivers and other sources. Measures satisfaction and provides guidance on appropriate course adjustment.
  • Supports Inquiry and Referral (I & R) data management procedures and reporting to monitor sales leads and referral volumes and sources, tracks inquiries and visits, identifies patterns and trends, measures conversion ratios and monthly enrollments.
  • Contributes to ongoing strategic report requirements of the department as needed.
  • Responsible for achieving Adult Day Health census goals as outlined in the Incentive Plan.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-services and projects and committees as assigned. Completes required training as assigned in Relias.
Requirements:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field. Experience working in the geriatric environment preferred. Knowledgeable about Medicare/Medicaid certification process preferred. Advanced knowledge and skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, database management and statistical reporting.


CERTIFICATION, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and current auto insurance required.


SKILLS:

Ideal candidate will have two or more years of successful sales experience, preferably in the Senior Living or healthcare environment. Candidate will also have a working knowledge of sales and marketing concepts to include principles and methods for promoting, and selling products and/or services. Must possess excellent presentation and written communications skills. Must be a self-starter with a high degree of resourcefulness, organized and detail oriented; possess strong project management skills; and a proven ability to meet deadlines and goals. Positive attitude and professional appearance. High capacity to work independently and with a team.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Good hearing, visual and speech capability. Ability to lift 30 pounds. Requires sitting, walking, standing, bending, and stair climbing.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is an office setting of a non-profit providing a variety of services to seniors and their families. The activity level is high and the noise level is moderate.
