Social Media/Digital Marketing Specialist

 

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media/Digital Marketing Specialist who is either a recent college graduate or is currently enrolled in college to manage our social media accounts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and interested in gaining hands-on experience in social media marketing. As the Social Media/Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in building and engaging our online community, promoting our brand, and sharing the unique experiences offered at STEAMspark. We are seeking a Social Media/Digital Marketing Specialist to help create content for our social media accounts. 

 

Role & Responsibilities

 

  • Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and post content across all our social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative content, including graphics, photos, videos, and written posts, that align with our brand and mission.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor social media accounts, respond to comments and messages, and interact with followers to build a strong online community.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track social media performance and provide insights and recommendations based on analytics to improve engagement and reach.
  • Brand Promotion: Assist in creating and executing social media campaigns that highlight our programs, events, and educational philosophy.
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices, and propose innovative ideas to enhance our online presence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing team and other departments to ensure a cohesive brand message and effective communication strategies.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Recent college graduate or currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and their best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for design and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Passion for education and an interest in the Montessori philosophy is a bonus.
