OVERALL SUMMARY:
Join our dynamic team as a Control Systems Engineer In this pivotal role, you’ll develop, integrate, and implement electronic control systems, wiring harnesses, and schematics for custom products. This exciting opportunity allows you to work directly with and invent cutting-edge control systems, hardware, and software.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Create mobile equipment electrical harness drawings and system schematics using 2D and 3D CAD tools
- Design sheet metal brackets and drawings
- Build, troubleshoot, and update harness and electrical schematics
- Develop, test, and troubleshoot control software (PLC design)
- Coordinate projects from conceptual phase to prototype builds to final production
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in cross functional teams
- Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with electronic control systems and control logic
- Proficiency in electrical harness, schematic and circuit design
- Understanding of mobile, agricultural, and/or industrial equipment
- Knowledge of basic hand tools for electrical assembly
- Experience with fluid power systems control
- Ability to learn and use control software (e.g., iQAN, PowerVision)
- Competency in AutoCAD Engineering drawing software
- Familiarity with 3D Modeling software (e.g., Inventor)
- Programming skills (C++, VBA, Etc.)
- Project management expertise from concept to production
- Analytical skills for complex schematics and documents
- Ability to write presentations and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
- Effective communication and teamwork
- Application of mathematical and electrical principles to practical problems
- Strong problem-solving and logical analysis abilities
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Computer preferred)
- Previous engineering experience preferred (internship, co-ops, part time, or full time)
*Annual base salary range for this position is give or take $72,000 to $95,000. Please note this is a general guidance and an offered salary will be based on the candidate's training, education, work experience, and skill set.
