About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Developer to join our team at Interstates, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and design significant portions of control systems
  • Work with project teams to develop project scope, including defining control system functionality, reports, and documentation
  • Ensure proper testing and documentation of control systems
  • Provide configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of HMI/PC/PLC hardware and software, and customer networks
  • Perform in-house and in-plant customer operator training for control systems
  • Develop programming standards and ensure team compliance
  • Coach and train other Interstates employees on the team
  • Perform technical design, code reviews, and help in estimating pricing for projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in programming in the industrial environment, implementing industrial control software, and dealing with customers regarding system requirements
  • Experience with object-oriented programming, user interface development, database systems, and system integration
  • Preferred skills or industry knowledge in value-added ag, food and beverage, continuous process, and other related fields
