Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will assist the team with executing marketing automation strategies to enhance lead generation, nurturing, and conversion. This role involves managing the marketing automation platform, helping to develop and optimize automated marketing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

Required - Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field

Qualifications

  • Required - 2+ years of experience in marketing automation or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot/Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and data integration.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content marketing strategies.
  • Certification in marketing automation platforms.

Essential Duties 80 % of Time

Marketing Automation Strategy:

  • Assist with implementing comprehensive marketing automation strategies aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, retail, and program teams to define and refine lead generation and nurturing processes.

Campaign Management:

  • Assist with executing automated marketing campaigns, including email marketing, drip campaigns, and lead nurturing workflows.
  • Segment and target audiences based on behavior, demographics, and engagement metrics.

Platform Management:

  • Manage and optimize the marketing automation platform (Salesforce)
  • Ensure data integrity and integration with CRM and other marketing tools.

Content Creation:

  • Create compelling and personalized content for automated campaigns, including emails, landing pages, and forms.
  • Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure consistent messaging and branding.

Performance Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness.

A/B Testing and Optimization:

  • Conduct A/B testing to optimize email subject lines, content, and other campaign elements.
  • Implement best practices for continuous improvement of marketing automation efforts.

Compliance and Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and industry best practices.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in marketing automation.
