Cantor Insurance Group is an independent property and casualty insurance agency located in Southfield, Michigan. Since 2014, CIG has developed a reputation as a premier agency focused on creative solutions and superior service. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with Commercial Lines insurance experience to join our team and assist with our rapidly growing business. The Commercial Lines Account Manager is responsible for preparing and marketing new and renewal proposals for clients, quoting new business, processing endorsements, answering customer inquiries, cross-selling while collaborating with agents in the office, preparing correspondence, and other duties as requested. The role will also require you to manage multiple accounts in several different markets. An ideal candidate for the position will be knowledgeable in the product lines, have the ability to communicate well with clients, and be able to prioritize tasks effectively. Individuals that are team-oriented, goal-driven, and enjoy solving problems.

Responsibilities
  • .Manage a book of commercial lines accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and new business quotes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and underwriters.
  • Review and analyze coverage options to provide clients with comprehensive insurance solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients, explaining coverage options and recommending appropriate products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations.
  • Collaborate with producers and other team members to achieve agency goals and objectives.
  • Participate in networking events and industry associations to promote agency services and expand client base.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Property and Casualty insurance license required.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
