Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Prefabrication Shop Worker to fabricate, assemble, and install prefabricated electrical components according to specifications. This role requires technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: $15-$20 per hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and Assembly:
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Operate machinery and tools.
- Measure and mark materials; assemble parts using fasteners.
- Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products for defects.
- Make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Safety and Maintenance:
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment; report hazards or malfunctions.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with team members to complete projects.
- Communicate project status and issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a fabrication shop or similar environment preferred.
- Knowledge of welding, electrical, or relevant skills is a plus.
- Skills:
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
