Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Developmental Therapist to join our early intervention team. The successful candidate will work with children from birth to three years old who are experiencing developmental delays. This role involves assessing developmental needs, creating and implementing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with families and other professionals to support the child's development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapeutic services to children in their natural environments (homes, daycare centers, etc.).
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support the child's developmental goals.
  • Monitor and document the child's progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
  • Educate and support families to enhance their understanding of developmental milestones and strategies to promote their child's development.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Valid license/certification as a Developmental Therapist or related certification as required by Tennessee Early Intervention System (TEIS).
  • Experience in early childhood intervention and working with children with developmental delays.
  • Strong understanding of child development and evidence-based intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to various service locations.
