Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary
The Licensed Therapist will conduct individual and family assessments, develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans as part of an interdisciplinary team. They will consult with psychiatrists, medical doctors, or other specialists concerning treatment plans and amend plans as necessary. The therapist will develop and facilitate prescribed clinical services, document interventions along with patient responses and progress, and provide referrals to outside resources. They will also support the clinical department's ongoing initiatives, including monitoring, quality improvement projects, patient outcome processes, and positive onboarding of department personnel. The therapist will maintain service delivery to state licensing and JCAHO accreditation standards.
Requirements
Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
Experience: Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience in direct mental health service provision (acute inpatient psychiatric healthcare preferred), with direct experience in case management, family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills. Must have strong clinical assessment skills. Combination of education, licensure, and experience, and/or student internship hours may be considered.
Preferred: Possess current and active state licensure as a LPC-A, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW.
Additional Requirements: Timely renewal of cardiopulmonary resuscitation for healthcare professionals' certification, annual professional skills verification, and HWC (Handle with Care) behavioral management certification.
