Peerless Hospitality Concepts in Johnson City is now hiring a Restaurant Manager for a unique concept restaurant in a historical venue

Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in high volume restaurants with a professional full-service team and a have passion for restaurant food service. We are looking for a team-oriented positive Restaurant Manager who is dedicated to superior food quality and service with a high level of detail.

Candidate should be high energy, positive, dedicated enjoy working in a high-volume atmosphere and work well under pressure while supporting and leading a team. Previous 3 years of Full-Service Restaurant Management is highly desired.

Position has room for growth, further training and advancement opportunity for the right candidate who understands the hospitality industry.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily restaurant and bar operations
  • Inspire the restaurant team to execute policies, procedures and special events
  • Ensure outstanding service within our dining room, bar and host stand areas and for optimal guest relations
  • Assist with food and drink inventory and labor cost management
  • Orchestrate and schedule restaurant team members as needed throughout all shifts
  • Recruit, interview, hire, motivate, supervise, schedule, train, coach and retain team members
  • Train both Front-of-house and Back-of-house team members about safety, sanitation and accident prevention principles
  • Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate daily specials, special events, policy updates and general information to the restaurant team
  • Be able to work opening, mid, and closing shifts at the restaurant
  • Oversee kitchen management including crew, food quality and appearance
Attributes:

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and coach team members
  • Be able to work in and coordinate a one-location, family-owned bar & casual dining restaurant

Experience: Full Service Restaurant Management: 2+ years required.

Requirements: Minimum of 4 business references.
