Job Description:

As a Pool Service Technician at Mystic Pool Service & Supplies, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance and installation of various types of pool equipment. As well as documenting each job performed. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our clients' pools, contributing to their overall satisfaction and enjoyment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and service pool equipment and accessories, including pool covers, lights, pumps, filters, and heaters.
  • Programming automation systems
  • Provide excellent customer service, including offering advice on pool maintenance and safety practices.
  • Diagnose problems with pool equipment.
  • Maintain accurate service records and inventory of supplies and chemicals.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pool maintenance and safety.
  • Attend training sessions to stay current with new products, services, and maintenance techniques.
Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification from a recognized pool operator course (e.g., CPO) is a plus.
  • Previous experience in pool service or maintenance is preferred but not required.
  • Strong understanding of pool chemistry and experience with pool maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues with pool equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation; willing to travel to multiple service locations within the area.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime during peak season.
