We're looking for a National Accounts Manager to drive profitable sales growth within Publix, SEG, UNFI, and others. If you're ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, this might be the perfect opportunity for you

About the Role:

Your main focus will be on increasing product volume growth and mix penetration through the successful development of distribution programs and promotions. We're seeking someone with excellent planning, communication, and negotiation skills, as well as a strong command of business analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the current product listing, opportunities for new business, and new product launches within the assigned channels of business.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that provide new business opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams within the organization to identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze business trends to develop a business growth strategy.
  • Maximize volume and revenue using fact-based selling methods.
  • Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance.
  • Align the company strategy with the assigned customer strategy and goals to maximize growth opportunities.
  • Meet annual sales targets as assigned.
  • Develop monthly sales and demand forecasts.
  • Achieve total best cost by limiting fines, buybacks, returns, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to expense budgets and other company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct and/or agency-managed sales experience in CPG, with a background in selling to Publix being a must-have.
  • Excellent planning, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, selling, and negotiation skills with the ability to build and sustain multiple relationships.
  • Proficiency in business analytics, including computer literacy and finance/controls.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and target and execute on new business opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Proactive and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
