We are currently searching for an experienced residential real estate Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney in Charlotte, NC to join our growing team This position requires an understanding of residential real estate transactions and all aspects of the title review and curative process. This position is in-office, and the candidate must possess a high degree of autonomy and the ability to work independently. Ideal candidates will be highly intelligent, hard-working, creative, results-driven, and confident in their abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete and thorough review of each assigned title search
  • Examination of all legal documents to ensure they are in compliance with North Carolina/South Carolina law
  • Prepare preliminary/final title opinion statements
  • Conduct residential real estate closings involving lenders, buyers, and sellers
  • Interacting with clients as counselor and advisor
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited Law School
  • South Carolina or North Carolina bar license required, preferred if barred in both states.
  • 1+ years of real estate law experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Job Location: In-office in our Charlotte, NC location.
