Applied Technology Services (ATS) is an IT systems integrator and has been a trusted partner to customers in the Mid-Atlantic region for 20 years. We have core competencies in Enterprise Modernization, Infrastructure Services, End User Computing, Workforce Optimization, Cyber Security Solutions, and IT Staffing. ATS provides a wide array of professional and managed services from the data center to the desktop. Applied Technology Services (ATS) is seeking an Inside Sales Representative specializing in IT hardware, software sales and services. This role supports Account Executives.
- Demonstrate, promote, and sell ATS’ products and services - Strategically present functionality and key value propositions to prospective customers.
- Develop and foster relationships - Maintain close communications with prospects to close sales and promote customer retention.
- Track progress and results - Record prospect interactions and track goal attainment in CRM system.
- Research and understand target market - Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and [company name]’s overall market opportunity.
- Responsible for configuring solutions, quoting, and up-selling as a reseller of servers, storage, desktop/laptop, security products and maintenance services.
- Ensure the performance and growth of Named customer accounts.
- Responsible for run-rate business for all established accounts.
- Daily contact with customer base in assigned territory.
- Daily update to sales on all promotional/ price/ product activity.
- Feedback to sales reps on activity/opportunities.
- Coordinate and develop relationship with key vendor relationships throughout
- Maintain “clean” contact lists for all customer accounts. (CRM) companies, opportunities,
Qualifications
- 1-2 years’ experience selling a product or service.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferred.
- Excellent ability to manage and build relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed acquisition goals.
- Demonstrated skills in communicating, selling, and negotiating.
- Unrelenting drive to understand and meet prospective customer needs.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with the Reseller Market.
- Familiarity with client ordering requirements.
