Human Resources Specialist

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Specialist/Coordinator to join our team. The HR Specialist/Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting various human resources functions within our manufacturing facility. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about HR and eager to contribute to the success of our organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and facilitating the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Coordinate employee relations activities, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, in collaboration with HR management.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data entry, and other documentation.
  • Support HR initiatives and projects, such as employee engagement surveys, training and development programs, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tasks, including timekeeping, deductions, and payroll inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in HR or related roles within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and OSHA, preferred.
