Duties & Responsibilities

  • Core Business Processes: Manage and coordinate persons, activities, and available resources to maximize the occupancy levels, community values, and successful operation of the property, including leasing, client relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor relations, selection and recruitment, and team development. Aim to increase revenues and reduce expenses.
  • Supervision: Assist team members in completing all duties and responsibilities appropriately, safely, and on schedule.
  • Problem Solving: Identify existing and potential problems/ Develop and implement solutions to achieve property objectives.
  • Leadership: Empower others to perform by providing necessary support, setting challenging performance standards, and facilitating movement toward a common vision.
  • Coaching: Actively train and coach team members for high performance in their current roles and develop them for future promotions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively in one-on-one and group settings. Ensure written and verbal communication reflects appropriate vocabulary, grammar, and word usage. Maintain consistent and effective communication with the Regional Supervisor and relevant teams.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience in property management or a related field
  • Knowledge of financial and budgeting principles
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and other applicable regulations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
